Acrylic Wall Mural Painting by Artist James "Jeigh" Hall
“My World / In His Hands” -2010

I created this wall mural when I first moved into my first Harlem, New York City Apartment. As soon as I got in the place I was working on this before I even had furniture! It’s painted in acrylic and covered in gloss. I call it “In His Hands” / “My World.”

This piece is about decisions and the complications of life. The viewer has a decision to make, where will be his final destination?

“The Rebirth” -2010

I created this painting at the beginning of my entrance into a new level of spirituality. I had a sweet dream/beautiful nightmare where a bible verse was scratched in to my arm. John 11:26 and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this? Every people everywhere, we’ve been thrown through space, into time, on earth, headed for hell. Let’s look through the rainbow, past color and come together, through His love into heaven.

Octopus painting by artist Jeigh Hall
“Mr. Octopus / Claustrophobia” -2011

This painting was first inspired by color and then a bit of claustrophobia within my life. The fluidity of an Octopus’s movement through the ocean is a beautiful depiction of balance. It seems to glide effortlessly through a claustrophobic life with the heavy ocean bearing down on it all the time. On the other hand octopus’ are fun, whimsical and interesting looking creatures.
